Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2027 Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the official notification for Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2027 Recruitment 2026 under the Agnipath Scheme. The recruitment is open for unmarried Indian male and female candidates who wish to serve the nation as Agniveervayu in technical and non-technical trades.

Eligible candidates who meet the required educational qualifications, physical standards, and medical criteria can apply online through the official portal iafrecruitment.edcil.co.in.

The online application process will reopen from 03 March 2026 and continue until 10 March 2026. Candidates must complete their registration within the deadline to appear in the Phase-I Online Exam scheduled on 30–31 March 2026.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must meet one of the following educational requirements.

For Science Stream

Candidates must have:

• Passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and English
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English

OR

• Three-year Engineering Diploma in any of the following fields:

• Mechanical Engineering

• Electrical Engineering

• Electronics

• Automobile Engineering

• Computer Science

• Information Technology

• Instrumentation Technology

OR

• Two-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics.

For Non-Science Stream

Candidates must have:

• Passed 10+2 in any stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English

OR

• Completed a two-year vocational course from a recognized board.

Age Limit

Candidates must be born between:

01 January 2006 to 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive).

The maximum age at the time of enrolment should not exceed 21 years.
